Animal Totem Workshop
Workshops are booked on request

Animal totems play huge roles in our lives. They aid in self-discovery and capture our imagination, giving us incredible avenues of self-expression and awareness.  We all have animal guides or totems, in most teachings it’s said we all have nine in total.  These symbols and metaphorical sign-posts walk through life with us teaching and guiding each individual and in some cases, even protecting them.  Additionally, our totems can greatly assist us in understanding our past and present, what we’re doing or need to do, and our animal neighbors can even reveal glimpses of our future.

Webster's Dictionary defines a totem as: "A natural object, usually an animal that serves as a distinctive, often venerated emblem or symbol – usually a means of personal or spiritual identity."

Through out history animals have symbolically stood alongside mankind and documented as symbols through life and death, protectors and guides.  As emblematic messengers they
have served as harbingers of traits, values and morality we, as
humans all aspire to.

Animals have appeared on cave drawings, pottery, sculpture,
and paintings. For earth-based spiritual traditions, animals
serve as protectors, messengers, and guides.

You will learn:
•  Your personal totems
•  The hidden significance, strengths and
   attributes of yourself
• Your animal spirit messages of where you
have been and where you are going
•  To develop a value and significance
   within the smallest of everyday
   circumstances and natural presence of
   life around us.

Often as a beloved pet has been
known to choose its family, animal
totems choose the person. Totems
have been referred to as spirit
animals, power animals, helpers…
regardless of the title provided, we
have many at one time and some
choose us for life.
